Many more Jews were displaced following the war than were in the Nakba. Israel also could have taken the West Bank and Gaza had they chosen to and specifically decided not to.
Nakba narratives almost never include the death count either, they always talk about displacement.
Many millions were killed when Turkish nationalists decided to colonize Anatolia for the Turks, yet no one complains about that.
