Jordan seized the West Bank in the 1948 war and brutally expelled or killed the entire Jewish population, almost without exception.

Israelis did not return to the West Bank until after 1967.

While the current crop of settlers there are abhorrent and morally indefensible, you also can’t disregard the displacement of the entire Jewish population just a few decades before.

I don’t claim the two misdeeds cancel each other out, but Plan Dalet is demonstrably not connected to modern West Bank settlers.
